The current Phantom of the Opera tour from the Cameron Mackintosh/Really Useful Theatre Company, Inc. will end its 18 year run at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. The Benedum Center in Pittsburgh, PA is currently hosting the Phantom of the Opera until September 19th and then it will move to the Pantages Theatre for a final 5 week run.
The Phantom of the Opera tour has been hugely successful since it opened in Seattle at the 5th Avenue Theatre in 1992. The show has visited around 80 cities and thousands of performances to rave reviews.
Pantages Theatre tickets for Phantom of the Opera are on sale now for all of the performances on the secondary ticket market. With the popularity of Phantom in Los Angeles the box office sold out of the best seats some time ago. Most theatre shows are sold up to a year in advance so the only alternative for good tickets for Phantom at the Pantages may be to go through a ticket broker.
There will be another Phantom of the Opera tour some day, but for now you may want to catch Phantom at the Pantages while there are still tickets available. If you’re in New York the Phantom of the Opera is at the Majestic Theatre on Broadway and you can always find tickets for those performances.
