The Big 4 Festival will head to New York’s Yankee Stadium on September 14th for a replay of the West Coast concert in Indio a few weeks ago. Metallica will be joined by Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax for the evening show in the Bronx.

Metallica fans objected to the orignal all reserved seating arrangement for the concert and the band responded by changing the floor seating to general admission with two different prices. For the front VIP general admission are the face value of the tickets is $225 and $175 for the rear general admission tickets.

This may be a start of a trend to divide the field sections for general admission concerts to squeeze the fans for more money. A few, and I do mean a few, World Series tickets went onsale today for the possible series games at Yankee Stadium should the Yankees take out the Texas Rangers. You have to qualify for the presale and you can bet tickets didn’t last long. The Yankees are tied with the Rangers at one game apiece and playing in Yankee Stadium in a matter of hours.

Ticket prices for the New York Yankees game today have dropped to around $50 per ticket from a high of close to $100 each. This follows a trend with the other ball clubs and playoff ticket prices dropping a bit in the Championship series as opp0sed to the Division Series where ticket prices remained constant.

The Texas Rangers have also put possible World Series tickets on sale with a lottery system at Texas Ballpark to keep the sale of tickets fair. There is never a shortage of baseball fans for World Series tickets and if the San Francisco Giants get there with the New York Yankees expect the ticket prices for the World Series to be some of the highest yet.

Catch Jay-Z and Eminem in concert tonight  and tomorrow night at Comerica Park in Detroit with Eminem headling these concerts and Jay- Z will headline the Yankee Stadium concerts on Monday September 13 and Tuesday the 14th. The concerts are sold out except for a few remaining tickets on the secondary ticket market and the fans can’t wait the most talked about concerts of the summer.

Eminem is at the top of his game right now with his hit single with Rihanna “Love the Way You Lie” which went number one on the Billboard Hot 100. And Jay-Z has been on top for a long time and has sold almost 3 million downloads of his hit “Lose Yourself” and 11 #1 albums on the Billboard Top 200.

These are the only concerts on the boards for these guys. The cost of taking this concert on the road are too prohibitive and there are no plans so far for any Eminem tour dates with Jay-Z on the books.

You can still buy Eminem tickets with Jay Z for the Detroit concerts and Jay Z tickets with Eminem in New York. There are not a great number of tickets remaining for the Comerica Park concerts but there are still plenty of tickets for Yankee Stadium.
