Ticket Brokers and Giants Fans Looking for a Loss Today
by Greg Cullen on Nov.01, 2010, under Sports News
The San Francisco Giants are hoping to take the World Series today with a win over the Texas Rangers at Rangers Ballpark but both ticket brokers and some fans hope they lose so the team returns to San Francisco to take the series at home. But after the way the Giants took out the Rangers last night, that may be wishful thinking.
It’s obvious to see why ticket brokers want the game back at AT&T Park this Wednesday and Thursday because they stand to either make big bucks or return money for the games not played. But for some fans it’s just for the love of the game and they want to see another World Series game at AT&T Park.
At this point Giants fans feel pretty confident the Giants will take the World Series this year and another game would just be the icing on the cake. Especially if they win at home. Ticket prices for World Series game 5 have plummeted in Texas with prices just under $200 per seat for tickets that were selling for as much as $500 – $600 each a few days ago.
At AT&T Park for Wednesday’s game ticket prices start at just over $700 per ticket. For the price difference SF Giants fans can hop on a flight and see today’s game for less money that a possible game 6 or 7 at AT&T Park. Just a thought. But if the Giants win today you may see ticket prices go even higher for the games at AT&T Park. So you may want to buy your SF Giants World Series tickets today knowing you can get a full refund if the games are not played.
Cheap World Series Tickets Can’t be Found
by Greg Cullen on Oct.28, 2010, under Sports News
If you’re looking for a deal for either one three Texas Rangers World Series games at Texas Stadium this weekend or one of the last two San Francisco Giants World Series games set for Wednesday November 3rd and 4th at AT&T Park, good luck.
Fans responded after the Giants win in the first game of the World Series last night by buying up Giants World Series tickets right after the game. The fewer seats resulted in prices going up by almost $100 per ticket by morning. And the prices never came down.
The winner of today’s game will determine whether the Rangers tickets or the Giants ticket prices go up immediatly after the game. If the San Francisco Giants take the game you can expect a jump in ticket prices for game 6 and 7 of the World Series. And if the Texas Rangers take the game today then the already high Rangers World Series tickets will surely go up as well for games 3, 4 and 5 at Rangers Ballpark.
The cheapest World Series tickets are for game 5 at Rangers Ballpark with the ticket prices currently running around $400 for a standing room only ticket. The most expensive World Series game is in Texas also, with the price of Saturday’s game running over $500 a ticket.
Baseball fans are cautioned to buy World Series tickets from reputable ticket sellers only. Preferred Seating Tickets has been the fans choice for good tickets for the World Series since 1987 and with an A+ Better Busines Bureau rating you can trust you’ll receive your World Series tickets in time for the game. You can save hundreds of dollars per ticket and avoid the hidden fees and service charges of other ticket brokers.
