Wicked the musical is coming back to the Canon Theatre in Toronto after having performed there in 2005 and 2006. When Wicked debuted in 2005 it was an instant hit with the fans and the shows sold out quickly. This time around though the demand is down and discount Wicked tickets are being offered for some of the upcoming performances at the Canon Theatre.

The offer for up to 30% off Wicked tickets was sent by email to subscribers to the Canon Theatre’s email updates with tickets priced at up to $109 per seat for as low as $65 per seat. For fans of Wicked that purchased their tickets in advance  this may not seem fair since they paid full price.

It may be partly due to the economy that the discounts for Wicked tickets are being offered for the Canon Theatre but Canada has not been hit as hard as the US so it may have to more with fans attending multiple shows on the first tour. Wicked is so popular that many fans have attended multiple performances when the show is on an extended run and this time around the promoters may have overestimated the ability of the fans to continue to do so.

Since these discounts are being offered for the first two weeks of the schedule that does not bode well for the rest of the performances set to run through November 28th. Tickets for Wicked at the Canon Theatre on the resell market have been way overpriced for a slow selling show and even we would have to admit it would be better to check with the box office first before checking with a theatre ticket broker.

You won’t see discount Wicked tickets in cities seeing Wicked for the first time. It is just too popular. Tickets for Wicked the musical can be purchased for all the cities on the tour through Preferred Seating Tickets at Wicked musical tickets.

Wicked the Musical is performing at the Sarofim Hall – Hobby Center in Houston Texas through June 25 and the Uihlein Hall in Milwaukee, WI through August 8. Tickets for Wicked have been the most popular theater tickets on Broadway and across the country as the musical Wicked works its way through all the major cities.

If you haven’t seen Wicked at either the Sarofim Hall or the Uihlein Hall there is still time to catch a show. Tickets for Wicked are still available in limited quantities for both venues but time is running out and so are the tickets. You can also find Wicked tickets for the Gershwin Theatre, the Orpheum Theatre and all the other venues on the national tour of Wicked.

The musical Wicked will be closing at the Music Hall at Fair Park where it will be replaced by Dreamgirls on Wednesday June 30 and on the same day Wicked will be opening at the Sarofim Hall Hobby Center in Houston, Texas.

Fans of Wicked the musical hate to see it leave thier city, many have seen the musical several times and it will be years before the national tour of Wicked comes back. Tickets for Wicked at the Sarofim Hall Hobby Center have beeen on sale for quite some time.

Most of the the musical Wicked performances at Sarofim Hall are already sold out but you can still buy Wicked tickets on the secondary market where season ticket holders will resell the best seats in the orchestra section and the cheaper upper level balcony seats. Wicked will be performing at the Sarofim Hall through Sunday July 25 and will not be extended so if you have to see Wicked live in a great theatre, buy your tickets today.
