Van Halen Tickets go on Sale Today!

Fans had a shot at the presale for Van Halen tickets today and most of the Van Halen tour dates will go on sale to the general public tomorrow. Van Halen ticket prices run from a face value of about $60 – $173 each for a majority of the concerts but the price quickly jumps up on the secondary ticket market. If the initial Van Halen tour dates sell well it looks like there is room on the tour schedule to add multiple Van Halen concerts in select cities with high demand.
The 2012 Van Halen tour schedule has the band kicking off on Feb. 18 at the KFC Yum! center and runs through June 26 with a final US concert at the New Orleans Arena.

The 2012 Van Halen tour is getting ready to go on sale on Jan. 14 and the band has released the video for “Tattoo”, from the upcoming album, A Different Kind of Truth. Take a look and see Eddie, Alex, Wolfgang and Diamond Dave rock the Roxy from the video recorded late last year.

Van Halen tour dates for 2012 were announced today after an hour long performance by the band last night at the Cafe Wha? in New York. Van Halen will kick off the tour on February 18 at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY and run through June 26 with a concert at the New Orleans Arena. The Van Halen tour will make a two night stand at Madison Square Garden and it looks like additional tour dates could be added if demand is great enough. Van Halen will be touring in support of their new album coming out in early February, A Different Kind of Truth.
Last night’s Van Halen concert was performed at a venue owned by David Lee Roth’s uncle and has seen many great performances over the years. The band kicked off the show with “You Really Got Me” and followed up with many hits including “Panama” and “Jump”. Wolfgang Van Halen will be on the tour replacing Michael Anthony and Kool & the Gang are slated to open some of the tour dates. Van Halen tickets go on sale January 14th.
