U2 has finally confirmed the date for the last concert for the rescheduled 306 tour in 2011 with Heinz Field in Pittsburgh as the lucky stadium. This should be one of U2′s better shows on the tour and U2 tickets will go on sale Monday October 18th at 10:00 am.

You can find good deals on U2 tickets for the shows already on sale. Because of the rescheduling and the poor economy there are cheap U2 tickets available for the concerts starting on May 21st at Invesco Field in Denver where ticket prices start at $59 per seat and floor seats are barely over the face value at $112 per ticket.

Tour dates for the rescheduled U2 2010 concert tour have been set for the spring and summer of 2011 with the U2 tour set to kick off on May 21 at Invesco Field in Denver, Co. Fans of U2 have been waiting for months since Bono injured his back rehearsing for the 2010 tour, but they still have a long wait ahead of them.

For those that have already purchased U2 tickets for the postphoned concert dates, they will be able to  use the same tickets for the newly rescheduled U2 concerts in May, June and July of 2011. For those concerts with multiple dates U2 ticket holders must pay particular attention to make sure they get to the correct resheduled concert.

Even though the U2 tour is a sellout, fans can still obtain  U2 tickets for the new concert dates from ticket brokers such as Preferred Seating who will be relisting their inventory now that the new U2 tour dates have been announced.

U2 is reporting losses from the postponed tour could cost the band over $100 million though the band is insured and their loss may be just an increase in their insurance rates. Can’t be any worse than Aerosmith, who have to have the highest rates  to cover their history of canceling concerts.

New U2 tour dates for 2011 should be released in the coming weeks. U2 fans have been waiting anxiously after Bono injured his back while preparing for the tour. It doesn’t appear that the back injury and resulting surgery are slowing Bono down as he has been spotted vacationing recently.
