Trans Siberian Orchestra brings a whole new dimension to songs from the holidays, playing their own renditions of Christmas classics that bring new life to the songs. Backed by a seasoned group of musicians and a couple of narrators, Trans Siberian Orchestra is split into two bands that tour simultaneously. The Trans Siberian Orchestra was started in 1996 by Paul O’Neill, a former producer for rock bands such as Humble Pie, Aerosmith and the Scorpians. You know it’s getting close to the holidays when you start seeing tour dates for The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and Dave Koz, A Smooth Jazz Christmas on sale. The perennial concert tour by the Trans Siberian Orchestra Winter Tour will be kicking off this weekend with the first show at the newly renamed Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio and ending at the Allstate Arena on December 26th.
