The Trans-Siberian Orchestra tour is making its holiday run again this year and this may be the bargain tour of the year. Tickets for the Trans Siberian Orchestra tour just went on sale to the general public and the face value of the tickets is just over $50 a ticket.

Even on the ticket resell market you can find tickets running close to $100 per ticket for seats in the first 8 to 10 rows from the stage or the best lower level seats. Compared to many of today’s rock concerts these cheap ticket prices are hard to beat.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a rock orchestra performing their own original songs and holiday classics with their own style with a huge light and lazer show often compared to Pink Floyds light show. Every year they perform to a higher standard than the year before and fans have returned every holiday season.

The annual Trans-Siberian Orchestra tour is set for this year and the holiday show will start on November 3rd and run through December 30th. As with past years there will be two separate touring groups to tackle the large number of concert dates throughout the US and Canada.

Tickets for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra 2010 tour will go on sale in early September. And the ticket prices are a bargain at a face value of under $60 for most of the markets. That price will change though when the fees are added on from Ticketmaster or if you buy your tickets from a ticket broker or reseller.

TSO live is like holiday music on steroids. They take traditional popular songs and add a rock orchestra interpretation to the songs along with a spectacular light and laser show. It’s a great show for the entire family, as long as nobody is expecting a traditional holiday show.

Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets are now on sale for the 2009 Winter Tour. TSO has a new double-album coming out on October 27th called Night Castle, and many of the new songs will undoubtedly be played on this tour.

Trans Siberian Orchestra brings a whole new dimension to songs from the holidays, playing their own renditions of Christmas classics that bring new life to the songs. Backed by a seasoned group of musicians and a couple of narrators, Trans Siberian Orchestra is split into two bands that tour simultaneously. They have a stunning display of lasers and lights that previously have only been found at Pink Floyd concerts and add a great visual light show to the production.

The Trans Siberian Orchestra was started in 1996 by Paul O’Neill, a former producer for rock bands such as Humble Pie, Aerosmith and the Scorpians. Paul enlisted the help of some friends, Robert Kinkel and Savatage lead singer Jon Oliva and released their most popular album, Christmas Eve and Other Stories, which has proved to be their most popular album so far.
