The 2012 Tom Petty tour dates with the Heartbreakers have been released and the very short US portion of the world tour will kick off on April 19 at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado and only nine concerts scheduled  before the band heads off to Europe. The Tom Petty tour will hit an odd collection of cities and venues, missing major markets such as New York and all of California which leaves open the possibility of more US tour dates after the European portion of the tour is over.

The last time Tom Petty toured was in 2010 in support of the MOJO album and the concerts sold out right away. Tom Petty will answer questions about the tour on Thursday through Twitter at 5:30 pm. Tom Petty tickets will go on sale in the coming weeks and fans can expect a quick sell out at the box office.

Cheap Tom Petty Tickets at the Oracle Arena and Gorge Amphitheater. Tickets for Tom Petty at the Oracle Arena for Saturday June 6 are selling at about face value, and these are some of the best seats available for Petty.

Tickets for Tom Petty are even cheaper at the Gorge where they have dropped to below face value for both days at the Gorge next Friday and Saturday June 11, 12. It’s still a week away but there are plenty of Tom Petty tickets down in the lower level and the prices couldn’t be better.

Tom Petty is coming to the Oracle Arena in Oakland this coming Saturday and the Gorge in Washington for two days and ticket prices have dropped a bit on the secondary market and you can now get some of the best seats for Tom Petty at close to face value or less!

Tom Petty tickets for the sold out concert at the Oracle are currently running about $160 a seat for a good lower level seat and about $200 a ticket for the best seats available in the club seating.

At the Gorge Amphitheater there are two Tom Petty concerts and you can find Tom Petty tickets selling for less than face value in the first ten rows of the lower level, behind the pit. With a concert on Friday June 11 and Saturday June 12 there are still plenty of Tom Petty tickets at the Gorge and that has caused ticket prices to drop recently.
