U2 tour dates for 2010 have been released and tickets for U2 go on sale on October 27th to U2.com members with prices ranging from $30 to $250 per ticket plus service charges. No on sale date for the general public through Ticketmaster has been announced yet for the U2 360 Tour, but expect tickets for U2 to go very quickly for the only Northern California appearance of U2 in 2010 at the Oakland Coliseum.

The U2 360 Tour has been a huge success in 2009, selling out stadiums across the country with the massive stage, video and sound system that make up the Space Station stage the band created. Sunday night U2 played at the Rose Bowl to close to 100,000 fans with the Black Eyed Peas opening up the concert, and closing out their set with Guns N Roses “Sweet Child o’ Mine” with Fergie on vocals and Slash working the guitar.

U2 kicked off the US portion of their 360 Degree world tour at Soldier Field in Chicago earlier this week, showing off the massive stage that resembles a giant claw. The band played more songs from the new album No Line on the Horizon, and only a few songs from their most popular albums, leaving out songs such as “I Will Follow” and “New Years Day”.

The sound system for the concert was great, but the large size of the stadium kept the fans much further from the band than a arena show, except for the ramps that Bono used to get into the crowd. U2 Tickets are available for the remainder of the tour.
