San Francisco 49ers ticket sales lag
by Greg Cullen on Oct.20, 2011, under Discount Ticket Deals, Sports News
The San Francisco 49ers are playing very well this year with a 5-1 record but ticket sales have lagged on the secondary market and discount tickets are everywhere. The price of cheap San Francisco 49ers tickets has gone up a bit in recent weeks, but the good seats on the yardlines are still a tough sell.
Currently there are close to 8,000 seats remaining for sale at PreferredSeat.com for the 49ers vs. Browns game on October 30th and most of the best seats at Candlestick Park are not selling for much over the face value. Maybe it’s the cost of the tickets in a down economy or the old outdated stadium and poor parking at Candlestick Park that are keeping many of the most loyal fans away.
But another factor could also be the cost of a high def. large screen television that may be keeping fans at home in their own luxury seats with all the amenities at no extra cost.
San Francisco 49ers tickets selling below face value
by Greg Cullen on Sep.22, 2011, under Discount Ticket Deals, Sports News
Tickets for the San Francisco 49ers are currently selling below face value for many of the remaining games at Candlestick Park even with the 49ers at a respectable 1-1 record. But you have to buy your San Francisco 49ers tickets or any NFL tickets from a sports ticket broker such as PreferredSeat.com to find the cheapest football tickets because only they sell them below face value. Similar deals can be found for most of the NFL teams this year because of the economy.
Right now you can find tickets for the San Francisco 49ers Candlestick Park games running from $16 – $20 per ticket for all the remaining games except the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers games. And the best seats in the house are still selling close to face value for a team that almost beat the Dallas Cowboys last weekend. Buy now and save because if they start winning the prices will surely go up.
49ers Stadium Builders Licenses to help finance new stadium
by Greg Cullen on Jul.06, 2011, under Sports News
The San Francisco 49ers have hired the Legend Premium Sales agency to handle the sales of the Stadium Builders Licenses, or psl’s with a new name. No mention of the cost of the SBL’s was released but they are sure to play a big part in financing the new 49ers stadium in Santa Clara.
The Santa Clara Stadium Authority approved the selection for the SBL’s and a number of things related to the construction of the stadium but everything still waits for the NFL strike to be settled and the new collective bargaining agreement to help pay some of the costs.
Now may be a good time for the San Francisco 49ers to improve. After years of jacking up the 49er ticket prices many longtime fans have been jumping ship and sales to ticket brokers and corporate clients have been taking up the slack because they are the ones that can afford them.
