49ers vs Raiders game biggest of year for 49er fans
by admin on Aug.23, 2010, under Sports News
The San Francisco 49ers schedule for the 2010 NFL season has some pretty big games at Candlestick Park this year with the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints coming to town for the second home game and the San Diego Chargers opening up the season at Candlestick Park on September 2nd. But the biggest game of the year is between the 49ers and the Oakland Raiders on October 17th.
Tickets for the 49ers vs Raiders game are currently sold out through Ticketmaster but you can still find seats for the big game from sports ticket brokers with the prices running over $100 per ticket at this time. Never mind that the Raiders haven’t played well in years, the rivalry goes back far enough to keep the interest high when they play each other in the regular season.
In comparison to other San Francisco 49er football games, the 49ers vs Chargers game on September 2nd has really cheap 49er tickets available. This is the cheapest 49er game of the year with tickets running only $15 each to get in the door. The best seats for the 49ers will run you under face value with 40-50 yard line seats running just over $100 each.
These ticket prices for the 49ers are pretty amazing considering the San Diego Chargers had a great year last season and this is the home opener. But the economy is taking it’s toll. It’s hard to imagine how the 49ers will convince 49er fans to cough up the money for PSL’s for a new stadium in Santa Clara when they have this kind of trouble selling a premium game on the secondary market.
San Francisco 49er tickets are on sale now for all their 2010 NFL regular season games without any hidden fees or service charges.
