Wicked the musical tickets are some of the toughest theater tickets to acquire, unless you’re lucky enough to see Wicked in San Francisco or New York. Because Wicked has such a fanatical following the shows sell out as soon as they go on sale and in the smaller markets it makes it tough to buy a Wicked ticket, even on the resell market.

Currently Wicked is performing at the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham, North Carolina and tickets for Wicked are in extremely limited supply for most of the upcoming shows. The best supply of tickets are for the weekend performances, especially Saturday nights where some of the best seats are still available.

Tickets for Wicked are just as tough to get for the Rochester Auditorium, Kentucky Center and upcoming Ovens Auditorium shows because tickets have sold so quickly. The problem is there are just not enough performances of Wicked in the smaller cities. The standard Wicked schedule for most of the cities on the Wicked national tour is only about three weeks, give or take a week. And the shows sell out within hours of going on sale. Even those Wicked tickets bought for resell by ticket brokers often sell out as soon as they are put up for sale.

Right now the best prices for Wicked can be found at the Orpheum Theatre,  San Francisco. Last minute ticket deals for Wicked are getting common because of the long run Wicked has had at the Orpheum. As an example, for tonight’s performance of Wicked at the Orpheum you can buy tickets in the 8th row center at just $110 each. Balcony seats for Wicked are currently as low as $55 each for the first row for tonight and only $50 for Wed.

At the Gershwin Theatre,  New York, Wicked tickets are almost never cheap. A good seat at the Gershwin for Wicked are usually running $200 and up per ticket. There are always plenty of seats available, but you have to pay for the best seats for Wicked at the Gershwin.

Wicked the musical will be touring forever, just as Phantom of the Opera, and when you hear that Wicked is coming to your town, you better run out and buy your tickets asap, before the sold out sign comes out and you’re looking for a ticket broker to get those tickets for you.
