NHL playoff tickets for the first round are usually the cheapest hockey playoff tickets available and for this year it still applies. A check around the league finds the San Jose Sharks playing the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday at the HP Pavilion in San Jose and ticket prices start at just $65 per seat, with lower level seats running $90 and up.
The cheapest tickets for the NHL playoff games can be found at the Prudential Center tomorrow, where you can get a New Jersey Devils playoff ticket against the Philadelphia Flyers for $30 each. In Phoenix it’s much the same story with the Phoenix Coyotes taking on the Detroit Red Wings and tickets are just $39 and up.
It’s when you hit Washington, Vancouver or Chicago that the playoff ticket prices really rise. The Vancouver Canucks are the toughest ticket to get at the most expensive price, starting at over $200 per seat. Tickets for the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins are currently running about $100 and up per seat, with the Washington Capitals running $80 and up.
All of these prices for the NHL playoffs are for this weeks games. By next week the teams will be playing in the opposing teams venue, and like the Los Angeles Kings, the price to see the Canucks start at only $50 each. But if the LA Kings take a win in Vancouver, expect the price to rise a bit down at the Staples Center.
