Compare 2012 Super Bowl Tickets Prices for the Best Deal

by on Jan.23, 2012, under Sports News

Football fans looking for the best deals for the 2012 Super Bowl with the New York Giants taking on the New England Patriots can find dozens of websites online to buy from.  But to save potentially hundreds of dollars they must go through a maze of sites with hidden fees that make comparing Super Bowl ticket prices a pain.

Most online sites selling Super Bowl tickets have will drop in the extra charges after you select the shipping method. This can dramatically raise the price of the Super Bowl ticket and you can guess why they hide the service fees in the first place. Then you must place the order online without knowing the exact seat location or when the tickets will be delivered. Some will send you electronic tickets but who would want that instead of the original hard stock Super Bowl ticket.

At Preferred Seating Tickets they encourage fans to compare their 2012 Super Bowl ticket prices with any companies including Stubhub and the TicketExchange. Both of these companies have extra fees that don’t show up in the original pricing and are hundreds of dollars more than 2012 Super Bowl tickets at PreferredSeat.com in many cases.

Fans can call Preferred Seating directly for exact seat numbers and delivery information for the NY Giants vs. New England Patriots Super Bowl game on Feb. 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium and receive free shipping on all Super Bowl ticket orders.

Ticket fraud attempts coming from New England area

by on Oct.15, 2011, under Sports News

A number of ticket brokers have been the attempted target of fraudsters attempting to purchase event tickets in the New England area over the last few weeks. Some of the attempted ticket fraud attempts have the perpetrator using credit card information that appears to have come from previous purchases the card holder had made, possibly from Craigslist ticket purchases.

The thing that makes these attempts more serious is the fact that the perpetrators have all the correct information including the correct three digit credit security code, even when the cardholder still has the card in his possession. Some of the cardholders questioned indicated they had previ0usly bought tickets from Craigslist with their credit cards giving all their personal information, including their security code.

Most of the fraud attempts have been for major sporting events such as the Boston Bruins tickets and New England Patriots tickets and usually involve an attempt to have them emailed. The fraud unit at Preferred Seating Tickets were able to stop the sales from going through several times last week but the same guys were back trying to use another stolen credit card again today.

Fans should be aware that just because someone accepts credit card payments, that does not always mean the company is legit, and they should do some background checking first which should include a Better Business Bureau check and a search on Google for company information.
