A limited number of NBA Finals tickets for the Los Angeles Lakers home games against the Boston Celtics at Staples Center go on sale today, in very limited quantities. Given the popularity of the Lakers and Celtics you can expect the tickets to sell out immediately, as in, good luck getting any tickets at all with Ticketmaster.
This is a classic East vs West matchup with the Lakers and the Celtics in the NBA Finals and the first game starts this Thursday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, followed by game 2 on Sunday. The NBA Finals will return to the Boston Garden on Tuesday June 8 and Thursday June 10.

Ticket prices for the NBA Finals at Staples Center on the resell market are running about $350 and up, yes that’s $350 just to get in the door. The Premium Seats at the Staples Center are currently a little over $900 per seat and to get a ticket in the lower level between the baskets, it’ll run you over $1700 per ticket. The best seats for the NBA Finals can run you over $2000 per ticket for something down close.
But where you buy your NBA Finals tickets can make all the difference in the world. Many websites such as Stubhub and Ticketsnow don’t actually guarantee you will get your NBA Finals tickets. They just guarantee you will receive you money back if you don’t get the tickets for the NBA Finals you ordered. With only a few days until the games, you want your Lakers tickets guaranteed and Preferred Seating tickets will do just that.
Not only that will your tickets be guaranteed but you can save 10% or more on ticket prices for the Lakers games by bypassing the large corporate ticket brokers such as Stubhub and Ticketsnow for a long time family owned and operated ticket service that doesn’t require all the extra service fees to cover the huge overhead required to run a large corporate company.
So get out and buy your Lakers tickets today for the NBA Finals at Staples Center. And if you don’t have any luck at Ticketmaster, check the NBA Finals ticket prices at Preferred Seating Tickets, and save money while getting the best seats available for all the Lakers NBA Finals games.
NBA Finals Ticket Prices – Cheaper in Orlando!
by Greg Cullen on Jun.04, 2009, under Discount Ticket Deals, Sports News
If your favorite team is the Orlando Magic then you can pay a whole lot less to see them play in the NBA Finals at the Amway Arena in Orlando, than the Lakers fans will pay at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Tickets for the Orlando Magic’s first home game on Tuesday June 9th at the Amway Arena are going for $230 to get in the door and up to $4000 per seat for some of the best seats in the house. But for the Los Angeles Lakers games at the Staples Center the cheapest pair of tickets is closer to $300 for tonight’s game and $363 for Sundays game in the cheap seats. The best seats in the lower are comparable in price to the best seats in Amway at about $4000 each.
This should be a great series and if the Magic takes game one tonight be prepared for the Laker’s ticket prices to drop and the price to see the Magic in Orlando to go way up. Up to now this has been one of the cheapest years to get NBA playoff tickets and the NBA Finals are no exception. Check here for Los Angeles Lakers’s NBA Finals tickets at the Staples Center or Orlando Magic NBA Finals tickets at the Amway Arena.
