There are all the usual sporting events  in 2010 such as the Super Bowl, NFL Pro Bowl, World Series and NHL Stanley Cup Finals which will be at a different venues this year than last. The Super Bowl of Rodeo as it’s called, features the awarding of World Championship Titles in a number of rodeo events including:

* Bareback Riding

Headers – Cowboys who rope the steer’s head
Heelers – Cowboys who rope the steer’s hind feet
* Saddle Bronc Riding
* Tie-Down Roping – or Calf Roping

The NFR is being held on December 3-12 this year and it is a huge event in Las Vegas with casinos joining in with special parties, live video feeds and events throughout the city just for the NFR. Entertainers on hand in Las Vegas for the NFR include Brooks and Dunn at the Las Vegas Hilton on 12/4 – 12/6 as part of their final tour together. Comedian Bill Engvall will be at the Treasure Island Theatre for both weekends of the event on December 3rd and 4th and the 10th and 11th.
