The new paperless tickets being sold for many of the popular concerts these days by Ticketmaster to stop the scalping of tickets has only made it much harder for parents to buy concert tickets for their own kids without attending the concert also. And most fans already know it doesn’t stop the reselling of tickets, there’s just a little more work involved.

Several recent articles have pointed out the problems some fans are having with the new paperless ticketing including one for a Lady Gaga concert by Oregonlive.com and another from the Torontosun.com for a Justin Bieber concert.

Ticket brokers have found a way around the paperless tickets so they only seem to create problems for the fans. So hopefully they will find a better solution than one that makes it a pain in the butt for fans to attend a concert.

Don’t miss Lady Gaga at the Staples Center this Wednesday and Thursday.  A limited number of tickets are still available but selling fast.  If you’re in Vegas on Friday you can catch Lady Gaga in concert at the MGM Grand.

The US portion of the Lady Gaga tour ends on September 19 before heading for Europe for for a few shows. You can catch the Lady Gaga concerts back in the states again starting February 19th at the Boardwalk Hall.

The Wachovia Center in Pittsburg, PA has gone through a name change as a result of  the aquisition of Wachovia Bank by Wells Fargo Bank earlier in the year. There’s always a little bit of confusion when a venue changes names, but usually it is because the naming rights have been sold.

Nothing else at the now Wells Fargo Center will be changing because of the ownership changes,including the upcoming concerts by Paul McCartney this weekend and Lady Gaga next month. Tickets for the Wells Fargo Center are still available from the same outlets and the best seats for the Wells Fargo Center are available at Preferred Seating Tickets.
