Wicked on Broadway Tickets a Hot Seller

by on Nov.11, 2010, under Theatre News

With the holiday season starting Wicked on Broadway tickets are the hot seller in New York for tourists and locals and every show is a sell out for the Gershwin Theatre. If you’re planning on visiting New York this may be a good time to buy Wicked Broadway tickets while there is a good selection of tickets available.

The Gershwin Theatre is in midtown Manhattan and seats 1933 for the Wicked musical. Wicked has been at the Gershwhin Theatre since opening on October 30, 2003 and fans have been captivated by the story and production ever since.

Good Wicked on Broadway tickets are fairly easy to obtain right now for the December show dates at the Gershwin but the selection gets slim and the prices go up as the performances get closer. You may think that the Gershwin Theatre box office or Ticketmaster would be the best choice for cheap Wicked tickets but they are either usually either sold out of tickets for Wicked or they are selling them for more than ticket brokers.

Before you buy your Wicked on Broadway tickets compare prices with PreferredSeat.com and you can find ticket prices for Wicked in New York to be cheaper than other websites that have hidden fees that you don’t see until you choose the shipping method for your Wicked tickets.

Don’t be fooled by discount tickets sites that advertise tickets for Wicked at 30-50% off. It’s just not true. Nobody is discounting Wicked tickets for a musical that sells out and they usually have extra fees or high shipping charges to make up the difference.

So if you’re going to see Wicked in NYC this holiday season, plan ahead and make sure you’re buying your Wicked on Broadway tickets from a reputable source and you’re not paying too much. There are plenty of good seats for Wicked at the Gershwin for the holidays, but they won’t last long. You can find tickets for Wicked the Musical for any of the cities on the current Wicked tour schedule on sale at PreferredSeat.com.
