Dave Matthews Band tour moves into the winter

by on Sep.17, 2010, under Entertainment News

Tickets to the Dave Matthews Band are going on sale today for a number of concert tour dates in November at indoor arenas in the north east. The new tour dates come 6 weeks after the final Dave Matthews Band summer concert at Wrigley field with Jason Mraz.

The usual presales for the Dave Matthews Band have already begun and the regular on sale will be next weekend after several more rounds of presales.  The face value of the Dave Matthews Band tickets will be different with each venue. The floor area will be general admission, standing room only and the lower level will have reserved seats.

At the Philips Arena in Atlanta the face values run from $48 to $85 for reserved seats and $96 for general admission floor seats. In contrast the cheapest seat at the TD Garden will run you $88 per seat and $98 for the floor general admission seats.

The promoters and Ticketmaster is trying to scale prices based on how much fans in each city are willing or able to pay to attend a concert. At least the Dave Matthews Band does not have all the overpriced VIP packages that put only the rich up front, but to charge higher prices to some fans than to others does not seem fair either. Every city has their less fortunate in this economy.

Cheap Dave Matthews Band Tickets for Hollywood Bowl, Sleeptrain

by on Aug.22, 2010, under Discount Ticket Deals

Cheap Dave Matthews Band tickets are available for a couple of his upcoming concerts in California, but not for all of them. You can get a pretty good deal on tomorrow’s Dave Matthews Band concert at the Hollywood Bowl with tickets on the resell market running $58 and up.

The concert is sold out through Ticketmaster right now, but even when they had tickets the worst seats were $56 each and these are even better than those. Moving closer to the stage the ticket prices for Dave Matthews go up a bit, but you can still get a great seat at a very good price.

There are much better ticket deals for the Dave Matthews Band concert at the Sleep Train Amphitheater in Marysville. Floor genera admission seats right in front of the stage are running as low as $44 each. The face value at Ticketmaster for those seats is $84.70, a savings of over $40 per ticket.

For the rest of the Dave Matthews Band tour the ticket prices are not as generous. But you still may find a few ticket deals as the concerts grow near.
