The Dallas Cowboys will be playing the Carolina Panthers tonight at Cowboys Stadium for a NFL Monday Night Football game that will be testing quarterback Tony Romo once again.

Without Terrel Owens this year, things are not going to be any easier for Tony, especially after last years playoff blowout that saw the Cowboys lose to the Philadelphia Eagles 44-6.

The Cowboys shouldn’t have too much trouble with the Panthers, who have lost their first two games and are putting up some of the worst stats in the league. The average value of NFL teams is still over a billion, so even though eight of the teams saw a decline in value, they don’t seem to be worrying too much yet. As far as those players that are ready to play, it looks like Frank Gore is in shape and fired up for the new season. He was quoted on 49ers.com, “I’m ready to play”. Gore looks to be in great shape and he has lost some weight to keep his energy up for the long season. Look for the 49ers to improve over last year, but just how much improved remains to be seen.
