Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football at Cowboy Stadium, Tony Romo on the Hot Seat
by admin on Sep.28, 2009, under Sports News
The Dallas Cowboys will be playing the Carolina Panthers tonight at Cowboys Stadium for a NFL Monday Night Football game that will be testing quarterback Tony Romo once again.
Without Terrel Owens this year, things are not going to be any easier for Tony, especially after last years playoff blowout that saw the Cowboys lose to the Philadelphia Eagles 44-6.
The Cowboys shouldn’t have too much trouble with the Panthers, who have lost their first two games and are putting up some of the worst stats in the league. But the Cowboys are playing at home on NFL Monday Night Football, and the loss of the first home game at the new Cowboy Stadium last week won’t go away anytime soon for Jerry Jones.
Dallas Cowboys tickets are on sale for all the home games at Cowboys Stadium and for any road game as well.
Dallas Cowboys on Top of Forbes List
by admin on Sep.03, 2009, under Business News, Entertainment News, Sports News
The Dallas Cowboys franchise is once again the most valuable team in US sports franchises with an estimated value of 1.65 Billion. And we can safely assume that does not include the new Cowboys Stadium which cost over a billion to construct.
The Washington Redskins are not far behind at just under 1.65 billion. The NFL team with the least value is the Oakland Raiders who are down again this year at 765 million, but what more can you expect from a team with their record and history of problems.
The average value of NFL teams is still over a billion, so even though eight of the teams saw a decline in value, they don’t seem to be worrying too much yet. The NFL is getting ready to kick off the new season on Thursday September 10th with the Tennessee Titans taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field

San Francisco 49ers Getting Ready for Preseason Games without Michael Crabtree
by admin on Aug.09, 2009, under Entertainment News, Sports News
The San Francisco 49ers aren’t sitting around waiting for Michael Crabtree and his agent Eugene Parker as they prepare for the first preseason game against the Denver Broncos at Candlestick Park next week. If the guy doesn’t have enough sense to realize he’s playing with bad cards, then why would the 49ers want him in the first place?
And with next years talent coming out, who else would want a player that demands more than the 10th pick of the NFL draft deserves. It would be nice if the NFL would take the position the NBA did with rookie salaries and get rid of this problem for once and for all.
As far as those players that are ready to play, it looks like Frank Gore is in shape and fired up for the new season. He was quoted on 49ers.com, “I’m ready to play”. Gore looks to be in great shape and he has lost some weight to keep his energy up for the long season. Look for the 49ers to improve over last year, but just how much improved remains to be seen.
San Francisco 49er preseason tickets are on sale now for all of the 49er preseason games at discount prices and the regular season tickets for the San Francisco 49ers are on sale now also. including:
San Francisco 49ers vs Denver Broncos game on Friday August 14th,
