The Kiss Alive 35 tour kicked off in Detroit last Friday with a rocking 2 hour plus concert featuring a new stage with a massive HD screen.

Kiss played two nights at the Cobo Arena, where their 1975 album “Alive” was recorded. Camera crews were recording both nights Kiss played at the Cobo, so there should be a live DVD in the works for later release.It was a typical crazy Kiss concert with plenty of pyrotechnics, confetti, and a crowd pleasing collection of hits that ended with Detroit Rock City for an encore.

The Kiss Army was out in force for the show, rocking out to every song the band threw at them. Kiss Alive 35 concert tickets are on sale for the entire tour. The set list for the show includes 20 songs:

Concert tours on sale this week include a host of dates for the Kiss Alive 35 concert tour that will kick off at the Cobo Arena in Detroit, Michigan, on Friday September 25th and continuing through December 5th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Kiss will be in full costume for this tour and they’ll be playing hits from their new album, Sonic Boom , due out on October 6th.

You know it’s getting close to the holidays when you start seeing tour dates for The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and Dave Koz, A Smooth Jazz Christmas on sale. The perennial concert tour by the Trans Siberian Orchestra Winter Tour will be kicking off this weekend with the first show at the newly renamed Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio and ending at the Allstate Arena on December 26th.

Some of the other artists adding concert dates to their tour include: Kelly Clarkson, The Stone Temple Pilots, Bill Cosby, and sure to be a favorite for children everywhere, Disney on Ice Princess Classics.
