It’s another big day for tickets going on sale as Conan O’Brien brings his act on the road. And who would have thought that a guy that just received a 40 million buyout, would need to charge up to $695 for tickets. And for $500 you get access to the sound check, for a comedian? There are much better deals out there for Conan O’Brien tickets from ticket brokers, who seem to have a better handle pricing tickets than Ticketmaster.

There are various fan club presales, credit card presales for dozens of artists today including Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers who are putting Tom Petty tickets on sale for Madison Square Garden, The Palace of Auburn Hills and several other venues on the “Mojo” tour. Tickets for Simon and Garfunkel are also on sale today for several concerts in Canada including the Rexall Place in Edmonton, and the General Motors Place in Vancouver.

If you’re looking for country concerts, then you can find tickets for Brooks and Dunn going on sale today as well as Alan Jackson and Darius Rucker tickets. This will be Brooks and Dunn’s final concert tour and the Last Rodeo is your last chance to catch a great band.  You can find Cher tickets in Vegas once again as she puts a number of concerts on sale today for June and July at The Colosseum At Caesars Palace.

Maxwell and Jill Scott tickets go on sale today for several of the venues on their current concert tour along with Alejandro Fernandez, Joan Sebastian and Marco Antonio Solis at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. For sports tickets the Seattle Mariners  have a sale today for Mariners season tickets for 2010.

Brooks and Dunn tickets went on sale today for the “Last Rodeo” Tour and fans swooped them up in minutes. Several venues showed that Brooks and Dunn tickets seemed to be sold out before they even went on sale, and others sold out their allotment in minutes. Tom Petty tickets were put on sale today as well for the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers “Mojo” concert tour. Tom Petty will be playing in outdoor and indoor venues on this 2010 tour and they’ll be touring in support of the spring release of the new album “Mojo”. Tickets for the Bamboozle Roadshow featuring Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, Good Charlotte, Cartel and more also went on sale at venues throughout the country. Rounding out new concerts going on sale today there is Alan Jackson, Sugarland, Carrie Underwood and the Goo Goo Dolls.

National Finals Rodeo tickets are on sale for all of the events at the 2009 NFR in Las Vegas from December 3-12, and you don’t want to miss this exciting event. The National Finals Rodeo is the final rodeo event of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association season and is held at the Thomas & Mack Center on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus.

The Super Bowl of Rodeo as it’s called, features the awarding of World Championship Titles in a number of rodeo events including:

* Bareback Riding
* Steer Wrestling – or Bull Dogging
* Team Roping –
Headers – Cowboys who rope the steer’s head
Heelers – Cowboys who rope the steer’s hind feet
* Saddle Bronc Riding
* Tie-Down Roping – or Calf Roping
* Barrel Racing
* Bull Riding

The NFR is being held on December 3-12 this year and it is a huge event in Las Vegas with casinos joining in with special parties, live video feeds and events throughout the city just for the NFR. Entertainers on hand in Las Vegas for the NFR include Brooks and Dunn at the Las Vegas Hilton on 12/4 – 12/6 as part of their final tour together. Comedian Bill Engvall will be at the Treasure Island Theatre for both weekends of the event on December 3rd and 4th and the 10th and 11th.
