Monday Night Football Packers vs Vikings and Brette Favre
by Greg Cullen on Oct.05, 2009, under Entertainment News, Sports News
It’s Monday Night Football and the Green Bay Packers will be visiting the Minnesota Vikings tonight at the Metrodome for one of most anticipated match ups this year. All eyes will be on Aaron Rodgers and the man he replaced at Green Bay to see who can prove to be the best player tonight.
The Minnesota Vikings are currently 3-0 this year with Brett Favre as quarterback, and are coming off a stunning last second win over the San Francisco 49ers. The Green Bay Packers beat the St Louis Rams last weekend behind Aaron Rogers three touchdown passes, but the Rams are not a team to be celebrating wins over this year.
The Packers can tie the lead in the NFC North with the Vikings and Bears with a win tonight, or leave the Vikings on top if the battle of the quarterbacks goes Brett Favre’s way. NFL Football Tickets are on sale for all the NFL teams online.
NFL Tickets on Sale for the NFL Season Opening Games
by Greg Cullen on Sep.07, 2009, under Entertainment News, Sports News
NFL Tickets are on sale now for the home opening games of the NFL season this weekend and the 2009-10 NFL football schedule is loaded with plenty of great games to see this year. It will be interesting to see if there is a slowdown in ticket sales for the NFL this year after MLB struggled this summer. With fewer games the NFL may get by a little easier, but that may depend on what part of the country you live in, how the economy is rebounding in your area and how well your team is playing.
There are some exciting games on tap this Sunday including the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers game at Lambeau Field, and the Washington Redskins and NY Giants game at Giants Stadium. The Packers played well in the preseason under Aaron Rodgers and hope to get past the Brett Favre era and start a new winning program after last years disappointing season.
For Monday Night Football, it’s the San Diego Chargers vs the Oakland Raiders at Oakland Coliseum. We’ll see just how far JaMarcus Russell and the Raiders have come since last year after a tough couple of preseason games. The Oakland Raider fans deserve better than what they’ve seen the last few years and San Diego doesn’t want to help them out with this game.
