NBA Schedule Release Sets Off Miami Heat Ticket Sales

The NBA schedule is out for the 2010-11 season and the schedule release has set off the NBA ticket sales for the year in the secondary market. Ticket brokers have their prices set for the big games with the Miami Heat tickets  going for the biggest bucks this year with the addition of LeBron James and Chris Bosh.

The Los Angeles Lakers tickets have been the most expensive tickets around the NBA for the last few years followed by the Boston Celtic ticket prices. But now the Heat take the top spot in resale ticket prices as basketball fans around the country try to secure a seat for the home game with the Heat.

The Boston Celtics will still be selling plenty of tickets with the addition of Shaquille ONeil and the Lakers won’t have any problems selling tickets around the country after last years NBA Championship, but when the Miami Heat come to town, ticket prices will be jacked up for the game.

Celtics Lead Lakers 3-2 – Game 6 at Staples Center Tuesday June 15

The Boston Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers tonight 92 – 87 and took a 3-2 lead in the NBA Finals best of seven series. The NBA Finals will resume on Tuesday June 15 at the Staples Center and ticket prices are well over $400 a seat, just to get in the door!

There are still plenty of Lakers tickets vs the Celtics on Tuesday at the Staples Center, and it’s too early to tell if tonights’ game will affect the ticket prices. But you may not see another Lakers vs Celtics playoff series for years to come and most fans expect the Lakers to bounce back for game 6, so now may be a great time to buy tickets.

Basketball fans and ticket brokers  in Los Angeles are hoping for a Lakers win on Tuesday for the extra ticket sales that would come from a game 7. Lakers Ticket Prices Rise for Sunday’s Celtics Game

The Lakers beat the Celtics last night and tickets for the Lakers vs Celtics NBA Finals game this Sunday June 6 at the Staples Center took a sharp hike upwards. Lakers tickets that were running just $259 per seat on June 2, are now $362 each.

All it took was one big win  over the Boston Celtics to convince Lakers fans that this was again their year to go all the way and ticket sales for the finals just took off at the Staples Center. Over at the Boston Gardens it’s another matter with ticket prices for the Celtics vs Lakers games at the Garden currently running about $255 and up per seat, down about a hundred dollars from a few days ago.

But everyone loves a winner and Sunday’s game could bring the Celtics right back in the game and ticket prices for the NBA Finals may change once again. In the meantime nothing you better get your Lakers vs Celtics tickets for Sunday’s game at the Staples Center before they are all sold out!
