If your looking for Stanley Cup playoff tickets and you’re a Montreal Canadiens hockey fan, then prepare to shell out big bucks for your playoff ticket against the Philadelphia Flyers, if you don’t already have one. The Canadiens have the distinction of having the priciest Stanley Cup playoff ticket on the market today with prices starting at $221 just to get into the door and lower level seats at the Bell Centre running $627 each for the playoff games this Thursday May 20 and Saturday May 22.

Those are some serious hockey fans in Montreal compared to the the Flyers who have NHL Eastern Conference Finals tickets starting at $111 per ticket and running just $165 for lower level seats, and $200 and up for some of the best seats in the house. The Flyers are leading the series and they have their next game at the Wachovia Center Tuesday, but they still have the cheapest Stanley Cup Playoff tickets available.

The San Jose Sharks are another team with some fairly affordable upper level seats starting at $116 per seat, but the lower level seats are going fast for Tuesday nights game and prices are running $261 and up per seat with the best seats at Hp Pavilion for the playoffs at $400 +.  The Sharks are currently down one game and desperately need a win at home.

The Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup playoff tickets at the United Center are starting at $105 for SRO or standing room only tickets, and to get a seat you have to shell out $190 + per ticket in the upper level. The Blackhawks have the second most expensive seat in the lower level with the price starting at $464 and up for the upcoming Friday and Sunday playoff games at the United Center.

Eric Clapton is going back on tour for 2010 with Jeff Beck on a few select dates at US and Canada. After the concerts with Beck, Clapton will embark on a solo tour with Roger Daltrey of the Who opening the show.

Eric Clapton toured with Steve Winwood in 2009 and they’ll team up again for a tour of Europe in May 2010. Clapton and Beck are scheduled for February 18th and 19th at Madison Square Garden in New York and the Air Canada Centre on the 21st and Bell Centre on the 22nd.
