The Boston Celtics took out the Cleveland Cavaliers last night to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Orlando Magic. The first game of the Celtics vs Magic series will be played on Sunday at the Amway Arena in Orlando after the Magic finished with a better record than the Celtics this year.

Tickets for the NBA Eastern Conference Finals games between the Celtics and Magic are already on sale for both games at the Amway Arena and the Celtics home games at TD Garden. You can tell the economy is taking a toll in the Orlando area because you will find cheap Orlando Magic vs Celtics playoff tickets for the NBA playoff games at Amway, currently running from $75 per ticket and up. The lower level seats for the playoffs at Amway are running around $160 per seat and up, but the best seats between the baskets are over $500 each.

At TD Garden the Boston Celtics vs Magic playoff tickets are running about $115 and up per seat for the games set to start on Saturday May 22 at the Garden.  Lower level loge seats at the Garden for the NBA playoffs are currently running $225 and up with the best seats over $400 per seat and up.

NBA playoff tickets are seldom cheap, but this year with the poor economy you’re seeing the best deals in years.  If your team is in the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs, this year may be the best time to attend a live game with the playoff ticket prices in a funk. Good for the NBA fan, not so good for sports ticket brokers hoping to make up for an already slow year.

The final three days of the U.S. portion of the AC/DC tour have been added and tickets for the concerts are on sale now.

AC/DC will be playing at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC on October 25th, the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL on October 30th, and the Amway Arena in Orlando on November 19th, before heading back to Australia for a break and some more shows in February of 2010. The AC/DC concert at Amway Arena in Orlando will be the final chance to get your tickets to see AC/DC this year.

If your favorite team is the Orlando Magic then you can pay a whole lot less to see them play in the NBA Finals at the Amway Arena in Orlando, than the Lakers fans will pay at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Tickets for the Orlando Magic’s first home game on Tuesday June 9th at the Amway Arena are going for $230 to get in the door and up to $4000 per seat for some of the best seats in the house. But for the Los Angeles Lakers games at the Staples Center the cheapest pair of tickets is closer to $300 for tonight’s game and $363 for Sundays game in the cheap seats. The best seats in the lower are comparable in price to the best seats in Amway at about $4000 each.

This should be a great series and if the Magic takes game one tonight be prepared for the Laker’s ticket prices to drop and the price to see the Magic in Orlando to go way up. Up to now this has been one of the cheapest years to get NBA playoff tickets and the NBA Finals are no exception.
