by admin on Dec.05, 2011, under Sports News
2012 BCS National Championship tickets are on sale now for the Jan. 9th game at the Mercedes Benz Superdome with the LSU Tigers taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide. Currently BCS Championship ticket prices are running just over $1400 and up per ticket. The ticket prices haven’t changed much since the teams were announced and the best seats for the BCS are still running in the thousands.
Last years BCS Championship game with the Oregon Ducks and Auburn Tigers saw ticket prices starting at $700 per seat before jumping up to over $2300 per seat by December 31st. The demand for 2012 BCS National Championship tickets is just as great if not greater for this years game. College football fans will want to be careful where they purchase BCS game tickets from because of the high fraud rate associated with big sporting events such as this game. PreferredSeat.com has BCS Championship tickets on sale now with no hidden service charges or fees and guaranteed delivery.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs Florida Gators = $$$
by admin on Sep.27, 2010, under Sports News
Tickets for the Alabama Crimson Tide against the Florida Gators will set you back a bit if you don’t already have tickets in hand. The rematch of last year’s SEC Championship game will put the offense of the 7th ranked Florida Gators up against the defense of the 1st ranked Crimson Tide.
Ticket prices for college football games can get pretty expensive and because the game is sold out at the box office at Bryant-Denny Stadium the only other option for getting tickets for the Crimson Tide game are through the resell market. As of today the cheapest tickets for the game were running just over $200 per ticket. There are still tickets available for the game Saturday night, but not a large number.
The very best seats for the Tide vs Gators football game will set you back from $400 to $500 per ticket. That’s not the only hot college football ticket this weekend. The Texas Longhorns football game against the Oklahoma Sooners at the Cotton Bowl for the annual Red River Rivalry will cost you over $200 per ticket also even as the Longhorns have slipped to the 21st spot in the AP rankings while the Sooners hold the 7th spot.
The Iowa Hawkeyes game against the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday night also has ticket prices pushing the $200 and up level but there are far fewer tickets available on the open market for this game. There are typically fewer seats available for all the college football games at Kinnick Stadium on the resell market than many of the other college football teams.
Then you have the big game up in Oregon at the Autzen Stadium with the 4th ranked Oregon Ducks football team up against the Stanford Cardinals in the offensive matchup of the week. There are really very few tickets available for this game where even a standing room only ticket is running $86 per seat and good seats will run you well over $300 per ticket.
Buying college football tickets on the open market isn’t for everyone at these prices. But when the box office is sold out and you can’t cough up tickets for the game from the alumni, you may just need a college sports ticket broker to come through with the tickets to the game, no matter what the cost.
