Adele is apparently cancelling the 10 city US tour set to begin at Atlantic City on October 7th and running through the 21st. Vocal chord damage is said to be the cause for the canceled tour dates and nothing was said about rescheduling as with the previous tour dates she missed. Fans will be deeply disappointed to miss the Grammy winning artist with her bestselling album “21″ on tour this year but she vowed to return and “smash the ball out of the park once I’m touring once again”.

All of Adele’s 2011 concerts were sold out and fans are encouraged to return their Adele concert tickets to the place of purchase for a refund. Adele has been rumored to be recording the new James Bond theme song and it’s not known how the throat problem will affect the timing with the movie.

Adele has had the top album on Billboard’s 200 for the 11th straight week, something that hasn’t been done since 2008 as the British singer prepares to return to the US after her voice problems forced her to reschedule her 2011 Adele tour dates. Songs from Adele’s 21 are getting some of the strongest airplay around the country, helping it stay at number one a little bit longer.

Not only has her new ablum been a hit, but the Adele tour is one of the hottest of the summer with ticket prices going through the roof on ticket resell sites as most fans of Adele hold onto their tickets rather than reselling them for a profit. The rescheduled Adele tour dates have just been announced for the postponed Adele concerts. The postponement was due to laryngitis which forced her take a few months off to rest her voice.  There are a few new Adele concerts on the new tour schedule and all fans are being notified today if they already have tickets for the rescheduled shows.  

All of the Adele concerts were sold out when the problem occurred and fans were worried she would not return to the US to finish the tour but Adele posted her new tour dates on her website today. Many of the venues Adele was scheduled to perform with have been changed to bigger places to accomodate the huge demand for Adele concert tickets.

Adele tickets for the rescheduled concerts are on sale now and tickets for the new Adele tour dates will go on sale soon.
