Cheap Super Bowl tickets harder to find

by on Jan.31, 2011, under Sports News

After a big weekend of Super Bowl ticket sales which saw the prices jump up to almost $2600 a seat Super Bowl ticket prices seem to have leveled off a bit today. Green Bay Packers fans seem to be the ones making the last minute Super Bowl ticket purchases after waiting through last week to see if ticket prices would come down, only to see them go up again on Friday.

A quick comparison of sites selling Super Bowl tickets reveals the Ticketmaster NFL Exchange with some of the most expensive tickets currently priced from $3200 and up per seat with all the extra service fees and taxes. Trying to pull up Super Bowl tickets on Stubhub and get a price is tough because the site seems to be having problems loading lately and the extra hidden fees and 48 hour notification turns off most Super Bowl buyers.

For the cheapest Super Bowl tickets you can still check with PreferredSeat.com. They will be selling last minute tickets for the Super Bowl right up to the game.
