Cowboys Lawsuit shows poor treatment of fans
by admin on Feb.11, 2011, under Sports News
The NFL and the Dallas Cowboys were served with a lawsuit by fans due to problems at the 2011 Super Bowl with seat arrangements. Some of the fans never got in Cowboys Stadium to see the Super Bowl, while other season ticket holders were sold temporary seats in fold out chairs without a view of the Cowboys big screen.
Up to 400 Super Bowl fans were stuck outside the stadium because of unsafe temporary seats and were offered refunds or tickets to a future Super Bowl game with airfare etc. But many Cowboys season ticket holders were sold temporary seats set up in the end zone walkways that gave a tunnel like view of the field and no view of the much hyped big screen.
The only way the fans could tell the seats were temporary seats would be if they had known the “A” at the end of the section number on their tickets stood for auxiliary, or temporary seats. Many fans were fuming to have paid top dollar for such a poor view.
Super Bowl fans were warned by this blog about the temporary Super Bowl seats and PreferredSeat.com made sure to warn their customers about buying temporary seats. It’s odd that the NFL and Dallas Cowboys did not have the problems with the seats fixed before the Super Bowl with all the advance time to do so and they should have treated their season ticket holders better by selling them seats with a full view.
Last minute Super Bowl deals not going to happen!
by admin on Feb.05, 2011, under Sports News
Ticket prices for the 2011 Super Bowl took a sharp turn upwards today as the supply of Super Bowl tickets dropped quickly today. There won’t be any last minute Super Bowl deals if tickets continue to sell today and Super Bowl ticket prices continue to rise.
Yesterday may have been the last chance to get a Super Bowl ticket for under $2500 with prices currently running just over $2500 each today. There are still plenty of last minute Super Bowl tickets available from PreferredSeat.com and ready for immediate pickup.
Update: After just a few short hours the price for the cheapest Super Bowl tickets has jumped to over $3100 per seat and half of the existing inventory this morning is sold. A majority of the inventory left is made up of a lot of not so good seats and a bunch of the best seats at Cowboys Stadium.
Be aware of cheap Super Bowl tickets for folding chairs
by admin on Feb.04, 2011, under Sports News
One thing football fans need to be aware of when buying 2011 Super Bowl tickets is that the sections at Cowboys Stadium marked with an “A” after the section number such as 224a are what they call auxillary seats and are just folding chairs. These were temporary seats put there just for big games such as the 2011 Super Bowl and from our understanding you don’t get a view of the Cowboys Stadium big screen.
The tickets make no mention of being folding chairs or not having a view of the big screen but that hasn’t stopped them from selling pretty well. For most fans they may want to consider paying a little extra for a better seat without the “A” for a better view and seat for the money they are paying.
If you have a question about whether the Super Bwol tickets you are looking to buy have obstructions or are temporary seats you can call PreferredSeat.com at 800 427-3914. Last minute Super Bowl tickets are still available at PreferredSeat.com without any hidden service charges.
