 Baseball’s Division Series games are well under way and the best time to buy tickets for the upcoming American League and National League Championship Series may be right now before playoff ticket prices go through the roof. For some of the baseball teams such as the San Francisco Giants and Philadelphia Phillies the price of playoff tickets has gone up with the wins and the same thing may happen for the Championship Series.  The New York Yankees have a 2-0 lead over the Minnesota Twins after the first couple of games in Minnesota and the same goes for the Texas Rangers who have a 2-0 lead over the Tampa Bay Rays while playing on the road. Both teams appear to be headed for the American League Championship Series games starting Friday October 15th.

 Both the San Francisco Giants and Philadelphia Phillies are up just one game, but what games they were with the superb pitching from both teams. Tickets for baseball’s Championship Series are already available even though the teams have not clinched the Division Series.

 But that doesn’t mean you can’t buy your Championship Series tickets now from a reputable ticket broker because they will offer a full refund for games not played and you may just save a bundle by buying your tickets before they clinch.

Baseball playoff ticket prices will probably only go up, even in this economy. The baseball stadiums are much smaller now and so access to the games is more restrictive. And everybody loves a winner and in the San Francisco Giants case, the seven years away from the playoffs is enough reason for Giants fans to buy up those playoff tickets early.

Ticket prices for tonight’s Giants vs. Braves game at AT&T Park are currently running $125 to $855 per seat and for the Phillies vs. Reds game from $132 to $869 a ticket. If you had bought your playoff ticket before the playoffs started you could have saved a bundle along with having a much better selection of seats to choose from.
