Ticket prices for the 2012 NFL playoff games have dropped across the board this week for all the Divisional playoff games and fans can get a bargain on many of Divisional playoff games this weekend. Since the opponents were determined this last weekend the average price drop is around 35% for the cheap seats to get in the door but some of the pricier yard line tickets have not dropped as much.
New England Patriots playoff tickets have taken the biggest hit with current prices running $135 and up per seat from a high of $180 per seat this past weekend. It could be in part because the Patriots are favored are not only expected to win but are favored by 14 points.
The San Francisco 49ers playoff ticket prices have taken a hit as well from a high of $257 for the cheapest 49er tickets, to the current price of $176 per seat. The 49ers are underdogs at home with a 3 point deficit but that doesn’t explain the fact that 49ers playoff ticket prices are now lower than the regular season Pittsburgh Steelers game tickets were selling for.
In the AFC Divisional game the Baltimore Ravens playoff ticket prices are down as much as the 49ers from a high of $249 per seat and now selling at around $176 and up. The Ravens have a 7 point lead over the Houston Texans and it just isn’t the draw sports ticket brokers were hoping for.
All of the home teams in the Divisional playoff race have seen playoff ticket prices drop and the Green Bay Packers vs. NY Giants game is no exception but at just 10% they have gone down from a high of $181 this last weekend, to $164 and up today. The Green Bay Packers playoff ticket prices are still the best deal out there especially considering they are the reining Super Bowl champs and expected to go all the way again this year.
If you’re holding out for the cheapest playoff ticket prices you will want to check and find out as to how the tickets will be delivered so you know if you need to place the order by Thursday for a Friday delivery if the tickets cannot be emailed at the last minute.
