The Green Bay Packers are know for selling out football game year after year so it came as a big surprise this week when the Packers vs. 49ers Wild Card game had not sold out as of Thursday. They’ve finally sold the last ticket at the box office but ticket brokers have had to drastically discount Packers playoff tickets for the best seats at Lambeau Field.
The frigid weather may be playing a part in the slow ticket sales but even Indianapolis and Cincinnati have had problems selling out this week leaving the possibility that local fans may not find the game broadcast come game day.
Right now Packers fans can find playoff tickets for less than regular season games. The most expensive seats of the playoffs go to the Seattle Seahawks who are getting close to $250 and up per seat for their Divisional playoff game next weekend.
Super Bowl ticket prices are currently some of the highest ever and may not get any better with the proximity to New York and Wall Street. The Broncos and the Seahawks are favored and they already have the most expensive playoff tickets on the secondary market.
