When you beat a team in the first two games the way the San Francisco Giants beat the Detroit Tigers you can expect ticket prices for the World Series for the possible game 6 or 7 to go up. And they did with the cheapest ticket for the next home games at AT&T Park now going for just over $600 per ticket, up about $100 from two days ago. On the other hand ticket prices for the Detroit Tigers World Series home games at Comerica Park have plummeted to $283 per seat from a high of just over $500 each before the Series started.
The best day to buy World Series tickets at a discount seems to be the morning of the game. A very few bargains have been popping up, but they don’t last long. So for most the day before the game may be the best time to buy at this point if you want to make sure you get a ticket.
For the San Francisco Giants game 2 of the World Series the ticket prices kept seadily climbing through the day of the game and there were no bargains to be had after the very early morning.
The Detroit Tigers lowest ticket prices will come Sunday morning if they lose game 3 tomorrow night. Then you may even see a few more Giants fans in attendance also.
