The 2014 Daytona 500 is this Sunday and ticket prices are the lowest they’ve been in years for the first race of the NASCAR Spring Cup Series. Fans looking for last minute Daytona 500 ticket deals can lock in seats for one of the hottest races of the year for as low as $72 each and still find some of the best seats near pit road.
There’s no clear reason why Daytona 500 ticket prices are down but the sport has taken a hit in recent years with fewer fans lining up at the turnstyles and forcing some racetracks to take down seating that was added in the good old days when auto racing was more attractive.
In addition to the box and tower seating there are still a few Fan Zone Pit Passes available that bring the fans to the heart of the Daytona Speedway. Country fans get an added bonus with Luke Bryan performing on pit road during the pre-race show.
