Define consistency and the best and currently the only ones doing it is the shallow east coast and west coast sports writers! Figures, same bs story. Coming from the West coast – I call BS and you don’t know what you are taking about. When does the spectator who watches this day in and day out have a say? Unfortunately, I am more than a spectator – I know football. Understand things change and require review. Bottom line, in my humble opinion, TCU is getting shafted this year and last year Utah was shafted. In 2009, TCU would beat Alabama and the funniest part of this story is that Boise State would be Texas. For crime out loud folks, Wyoming just kicked Fresno (one of the leaders of the WAC), when did Wyoming win their last bowl game? Oh ya 2004 against UCLA – Oh ya, what conference? Are we all idiots now? Of COURSE the Mountain West should have an automatic bid. It is only those news casters/reporters that would say different for their own personal reasons – from their own laziness and also to protect the EAST and WEST coast that fed them.
