Opening day baseball tickets get pricey for Giants and Rangers

by on Mar.31, 2011, under Sports News

Opening day tickets are typically some of the most expensive baseball tickets of the season for most MLB baseball teams and after a World Series appearance the prices can get really jacked up. The winner of the 2010 World Series San Francisco Giants home opener is on April 8th at AT&T Park and San Francisco Giants ticket prices for the cheapest seats are currently running $136 and up per seat.

And with only a limited number of seats between the bases available the prices have jumped to over $500 per ticket for the best seats at AT&T Park. Just like in the World Series the Texas Rangers ticket prices for opening day this Friday at Rangers Ballpark are cheaper than the SF Giants opener, currently running about $75 and up for a seat, and $50 to stand.

And the best seats at Rangers Ballpark will only set you back $475 per seat. But at least it’s the Boston Red Sox. Find baseball ticket prices, the complete 2011 baseball schedule and some of the best seats for any baseball game at PreferredSeat.com.
