It may be hard to believe but Susan Boyle’s album, “I Dreamed a Dream” is trailing Taylor Swift’s “Fearless” by just 175,000 albums as the No 2 seller of 2009.

Boyle’s debut album is still No 1 at Billboard for the 5th straight week, a record, and she’s kept some pretty heavy hitters from the top spot the past weeks including Alicia Keys and Mary J Blige.

I don’t think fans will flock to see Susan Boyle as they have for Taylor Swift, but it’s good to know that talent counts for something, and looks are not everything in music.
