Check out the 12 song set list from yesterdays Rolling Stones concert in Paris. The band blew through some of their classics and a new number for the crowd of about 350 that paid $20 per ticket for the warm up to the 50th anniversary concert tour.
The Rolling Stones act as if everything they are doing right now is spontaneous but it’s pretty obvious the marketing machine is at work and the events are calculated to bring maximum exposure to a band. Too bad they’re pricing many fans out with the face value tickets running anywhere from $100 to $800 for seats behind the stage to $1800 for a general admission ticket.
The Rolling Stones’ Paris set list:
“It’s Only Rock & Roll (But I Like It)”
“When the Whip Comes Down”
“Champagne and Reefer”
“Doom and Gloom”
“Start Me Up”
“Jumpin’ Jack Flash”
