Roger Daltrey just can’t sit around and wait for the Who to go back on tour so he is launching his own solo tour and he’ll be performing the entire “Tommy” album from start to finish along with a number of other Who classics. The 2011 Roger Daltrey tour will hit the streets in September at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida and will hit a mixture of small venues and a few larger arenas keeping the show more intimate for the most part.

Pete Townsend has decided to hold off on touring for now but Pete’s younger brother, Simon Townsend will be playing guitar in his place.  Roger’s voice is still as strong as ever and he plans on keeping close to the original versions of “Tommy” in the order on the album.
