The touring is almost over for George Strait with the release of his
final tour dates in 2013. “The Cowboy Rides Away Tour” will not be the last time George performs in concert but it will be the final race across the country the performer has done for decades as one of country’s top concert draws. Tickets for George Strait tour go on sale to the general public on October 12th.
In the 80’s George Strait could sell out two to three concerts at each tour stop with fans waiting up to 5 days in line for tickets. Times have changed and George will likely perform just one night in each city but the hits will be flowing and as George said, “This is going to be a very special, emotional tour for me,” the country superstar said. “Everywhere we’re going holds fond memories and I’m looking forward to paying my respects.”.
The final George Strait concert tour will kick off on January 18th at the United Spirit Arena in Lubbock, Texas and currently 22 tour dates are set. Fans will be able to purchase George Strait tickets from Preferred Seating Tickets as well as all of the usual outlets.
***UPDATE*** It looks like George Strait may be taking his last tour well into 2014 so stay tuned for a 2nd leg of the tour to be announced soon.
