The 25th anniversary of the Farm Aid concerts founded by Willie Nelson will have a change of venue as the concert performs in a major league baseball park this year. Miller Park in Milwaukee, WI will host the 2010 Farm Aid concert with Dave Matthews, Neil Young and John Mellencamp along with Willie Nelson already confirmed for the October 2nd concert to aid farmers.
Farm Aid tickets will go on sale to the general public on August 14th. This is the first time Farm Aid has performed in Wisconsin and the reason it did come this year is the reputation of Wisconsin’s farming community. Some of the funds raised by the concert will be used to educate the public about the benefits of local farming.
