The 2012 Coachella Music Festival went on sale to the general public on Friday, January 14 and the 3 day passes sold out at the box office within hours for the now double weekend festival. The concerts will run from Friday April 13-15 and then the same bands come back on the following Friday April 20-22. The face value of the sold out Coachella Music Festival tickets ran from $285 each for either of the 3 day weekend shows, but on the secondary ticket market the Coachella Music Festival ticket price has skyrocketed to over $600 each.
Fans of the Black Keys can catch the band headlining on both Friday nights with the Arctic Monkeys and a few dozen more bands. Saturday the headlining spot goes to Radiohead with Bon Iver and the Shins among the artists performing. Both Sundays Coachella concerts will be headlined by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog so the smoke will be thick for the fans and the lines at the concession stands will be long.
You may still be able to find shuttle passes and car camping passes online at the official Coachella Music Festival site and if you’re in need of Coachella Music Festival 3 day passes and you’re willing to pay the price, they are available at concert ticket brokers.
