Arcade Fire may be hot in some cities but for the Scottrade Center in Saint Louis ticket prices for Arcade Fire have plummeted to well below face value for tomorrow nights performance. Tickets that had a face value with service charges of around $50 are now selling for as low as $18 a ticket. And that’s for a good seat.
It’s not the same in all the markets and maybe ticket brokers helped drive down the price by buying too many tickets. But it does help illustrate the fact that the secondary market can be good for consumers when a show may be overpriced or the venue may be too large for the group.
