Churchill Downs is hosting the Hullablou Music Festival next weekend and bringing an impressive line up to the horse track. Usually known for the Breeders Cup, Churchill Downs will be bringing over 65 bands on 5 stages to the racetrack for the Hullabalou Music Festival.

Headling the Hullabalou Music Festival will be Bon Jovi on July 23, followed by Kenny Chesney on Saturday July 24 and the Dave Matthews Band on Sunday July 25. Over 47,000 tickets have been sold for the Hullabalou Festival so far and fans will be allowed to bring in a couple of water bottles to help with the heat.

Tickets for the Hullabalou Music Fest at Churchill Downs are on sale now and premium seats are still available for most shows.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have announced a tour of the US and Canada to support the new album Mojo coming out in the spring and Tom Petty tickets are expected to go on sale within the week. The opening acts for the Tom Petty tour that begins on May 6 will be My Morning Jacket, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Joe Cocker, ZZ Top and Drive By Truckers.

Tom Petty last toured in 2008, the same year the band performed at the Super Bowl at the University of Phoenix Stadium. The new album by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is called “Mojo” and is said to be a more of a blues-based album with longer jams.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have been performing together since 1976 and they’re still one of the top live rock and roll bands. George Strait tickets for his performances with Reba McEntire at the Fedex Forum in Memphis, Tn and the Verizon Arena in Little Rock, AR will officially go on sale this weekend. Plenty of tickets for George Straits concerts are already on sale after several presales earlier in the week.

The George Strait concert tickets for the Verizon Arena will be paperless tickets to inhibit the reselling of tickets, but that won’t stop the concert from selling out. There are other George Strait tour dates that are still to be announced in the coming weeks for shows in Oregon, Washington, Iowa and more.

The George Strait Reba McEntire concert stage setup will be “in the round” with the stage in the center of the floor and the entire arena open for seating. The stage will rotate slowly as it has for many of George Straits concerts in the past.
