by admin on Aug.22, 2010, under Discount Ticket Deals
Cheap Dave Matthews Band tickets are available for a couple of his upcoming concerts in California, but not for all of them. You can get a pretty good deal on tomorrow’s Dave Matthews Band concert at the Hollywood Bowl with tickets on the resell market running $58 and up.
The concert is sold out through Ticketmaster right now, but even when they had tickets the worst seats were $56 each and these are even better than those. Moving closer to the stage the ticket prices for Dave Matthews go up a bit, but you can still get a great seat at a very good price.
There are much better ticket deals for the Dave Matthews Band concert at the Sleep Train Amphitheater in Marysville. Floor genera admission seats right in front of the stage are running as low as $44 each. The face value at Ticketmaster for those seats is $84.70, a savings of over $40 per ticket.
For the rest of the Dave Matthews Band tour the ticket prices are not as generous. But you still may find a few ticket deals as the concerts grow near.
Cheap George Strait Tickets on Resell Market
by admin on Aug.17, 2010, under Discount Ticket Deals
George Strait tickets may sell like hotcakes but for his upcoming concerts ticket brokers are selling his best seats at a bargain. You can find great seats for the George Strait and Reba McEntire concerts at close or below the Ticketmaster face value, with the service charges.
The economy has taken its toll on many veteran concert acts this year, sparing some of the new acts such as Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber but others have seen ticket sales plummet and resell tickets going below the face value. Now you can get a better seat from a ticket broker for the same price or not much above the face value for some concerts such as the George Strait and Reba concerts.
As an example you can find tickets for George Strait from Ticketmaster at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio in section 107 row U running $105 per seat, but through Preferredseat.com you can find seats in section 107 row N at $106 each, or Floor 7 Row N at $104 per seat. The best seats are still not that much above the face value compared with many other concerts.
You can find similar discount ticket deals for other George Strait concerts as well. The Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky and Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina have similar discount ticket deals, but the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee has some pretty high ticket prices.
The bottom line is you will not always find the cheapest tickets for concerts from Ticketmaster. You can find some great ticket deals from ticket brokers, even if you are paying a bit more than the face value; you’re getting a much better seat than what’s available from Ticketmaster.
NFL Preseason Game Tickets Discounted
by admin on Aug.06, 2010, under Discount Ticket Deals, Sports News
The NFL preseason is just around the corner and there are cheap football tickets available for all the NFL games in the coming weeks. Most season ticket holders could care less about the preseason games and will usually heavily discount those tickets for fans who normally cannot afford the high prices of regular season games. Football fans can save a bundle, especially if you’re a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
NFL football tickets have gotten so expensive in recent years especially for the Dallas Cowboys and the new Cowboy Stadium with the high ticket prices and personal seat licenses. It’s a beautiful stadium to see a football game and spend a good part of the day, but for regular season games Dallas Cowboys tickets go through the roof.
The cheapest tickets for the Dallas Cowboys on the resell market are for the Cowboys vs Jaguars game on October 31st and the next home game on November 21st against the Detroit Lions. They will set you back around $48. You have to buy Cowboys tickets on the resell market because they are already sold out of tickets at the box office before the season even starts.
But for a preseason game you can buy a ticket for the Cowboys for as low as $15 per ticket. That can be for either the Oakland Raiders game on August 12th or the Miami Dolphins game on September 2nd. Either game gets you into Cowboy Stadium at a cheap cost. The parking and beer will cost you much more than the tickets will.
And you would think the same principal would apply to the best seats at Cowboy Stadium. But for a game like the Raiders preseason game you will find only a few cheap seats in the lower level end zone running about $30 a ticket, but the corners quickly jump to $125 and the better seats between the goals are running over $150 each. And the best seats for a preseason game at Cowboys stadium can still set you back anywhere from $175 to $300 or more per ticket.
But that’s still a heck of a lot better than the regular season games such as the Cowboys vs Bears game on September 19th where the cheapest seat is running just under $100 a ticket, the lower level at about $200 and the best seats can easily get over $500 per ticket.
For that kind of money Cowboy fans need to be careful where they buy their Cowboys tickets from. Hidden fees can add hundreds of dollars to the cost of a ticket. A few sports ticket brokers such as Preferred Seating Tickets can save you big bucks because they don’t have any hidden fees. Just straight up Cowboys ticket prices that can’t be beat.
