49ers vs Raiders game biggest of year for 49er fans

by admin on Aug.23, 2010, under Sports News

The San Francisco 49ers schedule for the 2010 NFL season has some pretty big games at Candlestick Park this year with the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints coming to town for the second home game and the San Diego Chargers opening up the season at Candlestick Park on September 2nd. But the biggest game of the year is between the 49ers and the Oakland Raiders on October 17th.

Tickets for the 49ers vs Raiders game are currently sold out through Ticketmaster but you can still find seats for the big game from sports ticket brokers with the prices running over $100 per ticket at this time. Never mind that the Raiders haven’t played well in years, the rivalry goes back far enough to keep the interest high when they play each other in the regular season.

In comparison to other San Francisco 49er football games, the 49ers vs Chargers game on September 2nd has really cheap 49er tickets available. This is the cheapest 49er game of the year with tickets running only $15 each to get in the door. The best seats for the 49ers will run you under face value with 40-50 yard line seats running just over $100 each.

These ticket prices for the 49ers are pretty amazing considering the San Diego Chargers had a great year last season and this is the home opener. But the economy is taking it’s toll. It’s hard to imagine how the 49ers will convince 49er fans to cough up the money for PSL’s for a new stadium in Santa Clara when they have this kind of trouble selling a premium game on the secondary market.

San Francisco 49er tickets are on sale now for all their 2010 NFL regular season games without any hidden fees or service charges.

Without Favre the Vikings would not be selling well in most NFL markets.

But with with Brett Favre back again tickets for the Minnesota Vikings will be selling like hotcakes this year as they make another run at the Super Bowl. Ticket brokers are happy also with the price of resell tickets for the Vikings going through the roof for the Vikings games.

Jack Johnson Concert Tickets for Local Charities

by admin on Jul.26, 2010, under Entertainment News

Jack Johnson is proving that an artist can sell enough cd’s to pay for a decent living and at the same time donate all the profits from his concert tour to local charities. And his ticket prices are some of the lowest at anywhere from $40 to $70 depending on the market and seat type.

Though he was offered the option of having a VIP area at a higher price, Jack Johnson turned it down as he oversees everything about the details of his tour and where the profits from his concerts go. Most of the charities are nonprofits and school districts and the grants are geared toward environmental education, music and arts, all of which Jack Johnson has always been a huge proponent of.

Jack Johnson is living off of the over $10 million cd’s he has sold in his career including his latest “To the Sea” which was influenced by his father, a well known Hawaiian surfer who died last summer. He breaks out the electric guitar on this album as well as his usual acoustic.

Jack Johnson’s tour is currently scheduled through October 14th. Tickets for Jack Johnson in concert are still available from the regular sources and some of the best tickets can be purchased on the secondary market also. Preferred Seating tickets are an excellent source for Jack Johnson tickets, with no hidden fees.
