The Dead and Springsteen have Falling Ticket Prices

by on Apr.23, 2009, under Discount Ticket Deals, Entertainment News, Music News

Both The Dead and Bruce Springsteen are sharing a similar fate in ticket sales. Prices have plummeted for a number of cities on the current tours and The Dead Tickets and Bruce Springsteen tickets can be purchased for well below face value in some cases.

Some of the venues for cheap Springsteen tickets include:Philips Arena, Greensboro Coliseum. For the Dead, great prices can be found for the Nassau Coliseum and the Xcel Center.

It may have more to do with the economy, but this is the second time that Bruce has toured in only a few years and the Dead raised their prices so much they probably out priced many of their fans. Maybe smaller venues should be on the bill for the next tours, just don’t raise the prices!

Ticketmaster, the Most Hated Company in America

by on Apr.10, 2009, under Entertainment News, Music News

At this point in time Ticketmaster must have the title of “The most hated company in America” after all the snafu’s with reselling tickets through the tickets reseller TicketsNow and the history of high service charges and poor customer service.

And a great deal of the problem can be traced to Ticketmaster’s policies, one of which I experienced recently after going over the ticket limit in purchasing tickets. We were told we would receive a credit for buying over the ticket limit by a pair of tickets, but that the promoter would decide when we would get a refund.

And this was already a week after we had purchased the tickets so I was pretty pissed to hear it would be at the promoters leisure to credit my account. And as I told the Ticketmaster rep, this is one of the very reasons they are hated so much, really poor customer service. Any other company would immediately give a refund, especially for a sale they canceled, but not Ticketmaster. As explained by the rep, it was their policy and we agreed to it when we purchased the tickets that they could give us a refund when they wanted to.

Well Ticketmaster, that is only one of the reasons you are the most hated company in America today!
